School History

Air Force School, Jodhpur is run as a welfare measure for AF personnel under the aegis of IAF Educational and Cultural Society. The School initially started with classes (LKG to V) with an intake of approximately 400 students in 1952. Subsequently, it was upgraded to Secondary level and affiliated to the CBSE in November 1988. The School has grown into a full-fledged Senior Secondary level since 1994 and today it has strength of 738 students and 22 sections in all. This includes 06 Pre-Primary, 05 Primary, 03 Secondary and 08 Senior Secondary Sections. The school has qualified/ trained teaching staff to cater to academic needs of the students. The school has also started commerce stream along with the science stream in the 2012.

With up-gradation to Senior Secondary level, fully equipped Science Laboratories were established for practical. The school has a full-fledged library with 8247 books in its stock to provide reference and reading material to the students.
